On-Camera Coaching for Founders, With a Site That Finally Looks the Part
Raewyn Barry coaches founders, executives and experts to show up with confidence on video, in virtual meeting rooms and in presentations. Her previous site didn't represent the business - it wasn't presentable, and it broke down on mobile. The new one had to look as polished as the people she trains, and run without a developer on call.

Context
A Small Business With Only a Browser for Hosting Access
Raewyn runs live group workshops on Zoom alongside corporate team training and one-to-one coaching. Workshops come and go and client stories keep coming in - all of it has to be updated in-house.
Launch had a constraint of its own: access to the live host was through wp-admin only, with no SSH, FTP or command line. Whatever we shipped had to install and populate itself from the WordPress dashboard.
Goal
One Design, Turned Into a Site the Owner Can Edit Herself
We designed the Home page in Figma, then built a static site across seven pages - Home, Workshops, Corporate, Contact, Client Stories, Watch and Book - as the client-approved visual reference for everything that followed.
That design was then rebuilt on WordPress without losing a detail. Every heading, image, button and section is editable from wp-admin - and reordering or hiding a section still leaves the page looking like the approved design.
Challenge
Editable for the Owner, and Still On-Brand After Every Edit
A page builder would have given the owner freedom, but it would have broken the design within a week. Instead we built a fixed set of 20 section types on Secure Custom Fields, each one offering only the backgrounds and spacing that suit the design.
Bookings needed a rule too: clients pay first, then pick a time - never the other way round. And the workshop schedule changes often, with sessions running a few times a year whenever there's demand.
Process
Designed, Prototyped and Rebuilt in 10 Days
After the desktop Home design, we designed every interior page and all the mobile layouts, built them as a static site, and froze it once the client signed off. The WordPress theme was then rebuilt from it using the same CSS, JavaScript and class names.
An automated suite compared every WordPress page against the approved static version - text parity, full-page screenshots at 1440, 768 and 390px, editor behaviour, and horizontal overflow from 320px up. At sign-off, six of seven pages were pixel-identical and the seventh differed only in its footer.
Technology
A Custom WordPress Theme, No Page Builder
A classic PHP theme on Secure Custom Fields, with fields registered in code so they deploy with the theme, and Stories and Workshops as custom post types. The front end is one token-driven stylesheet plus dependency-free JavaScript for scroll reveals, count-up stats, the FAQ accordion and the story filter.
Workshops link to Stripe Payment Links, and Stripe returns the client to a Book page with an embedded Calendly calendar. Contact and newsletter forms are handled in the theme - protected by a nonce, a honeypot and a per-IP rate limit - and deliver over SMTP. Yoast SEO, Site Kit by Google, a branded share image and 301s from the old .html URLs complete the setup.
Impact
Launched From wp-admin, and Run Without a Developer
The site went live by uploading one theme zip and running a built-in importer that created all seven pages, the stories, the workshops, the menus and the settings with approved copy. New workshops and client stories are added from the dashboard, any section can be edited, and the design stays intact.
